Inspired by my hero W.E.B. DuBois, I am committed to working towards Race Equality and established my own company, Talented Tenth Limited in March 2003. | Voluntary Work |
I am an enthusiastic volunteer when the cause is good. In Brighton I was an active member of MOSAIC Black and Mixed Parentage Family Group - I chaired the group for a year in 2001 and subsequently supported the organisation in various capacities (both voluntary and paid). I also was a member of the board of Working Together Project in 2005-6. Following my move to Berlin, I was involved in the setting up of the Foreign Entrepreneurs Support Network (FESN). I am currently work a lot with the Initiative of Black People in Germany (ISD), in particular participating in the co-ordination of the annual Bundestreffen. |
